History
In 1995, Texaco was looking for a means to fill the gaps that existed in its distribution network in Ireland. Texoil was formed on the basis that it would solve this problem for Texaco.
Toward the end of 1999, Texoil moved from being a trading division within Texaco, to become a joint venture company between Texaco and Mr. Tom Kirrane. Since then Texoil has grown to be one of Texaco's Leading distributor in Ireland.
This growth has come about through a combination of acquisition growth and our own organic growth of our customer base. We now cover markets as diverse as our day to day domestic customers right up to large wholesale distributors & service stations.
At present we employ over 100 staff members countrywide and also are proud to say that we actively support the communities we operate in.

With our modern fleet of trucks and experienced fully trained drivers we aim to give our customers a consistent unmatched level of service. We believe that through a combination of years of experience and using front edge technology we are the market leader when it comes to customer service.
